Job Description:
Battle Creek Health System, part of the Trinity Health System,
is a multi-campus health care provider serving approximately 200,000
people in south central Michigan. With a 172-bed hospital, a
full service Outpatient Center, an Inpatient Acute Care Center
and two occupational health clinics, Battle Creek Health System
is nationally ranked in the top 5% in orthopedic and vascular
services and a nationally recognized Cancer Care Center. Cejka Search has been retained by Battle Creek Health System to
assist in the recruitment of an Executive Director for their newly-formed
physician network. This position will be responsible for the
day-to-day management functions of planning, organizing, staffing,
direction and controlling the operations of Battle Creek Health
System Physician Network. Additionally, this key leadership position
will work collaboratively with Battle Creek Health System Administrative
Management teams to contribute to effective leadership and decision
making. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience
managing large multi-specialty groups with multiple locations
(minimum 30 physicians). Candidates must have a firm grasp on
scheduling, billing, patient thru-put, marketing and networking.
Sound financial and performance analysis experience is required,
as is the ability to navigate the politics of hospital-owned physician
groups versus private practice groups. Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration, Public Administration or equivalent is required.
Master's degree in Business, Public Health or equivalent is preferred.
