Job Description:
The Bard Group is conducting a national search for Director of
Strategy and Design to join their physician-led consulting firm
specializing in helping healthcare organizations achieve extraordinary
results. For more than a generation healthcare executives, Boards,
and physician leaders have turned to the Bard Group when the engagement
of physicians or physician groups is critical to the success of
their organizational strategies, clinical programs, and performance
improvement initiatives. The Director of Strategy and Design will lead business development
activities, and manage engagements at the C-suite level of health
systems, hospitals, and group practices. As a key decision maker
of The Bard Group, the Director will bring an entrepreneurial
approach to business development and engagement management. The
Director will take the lead in presentations to client Boards
of Directors and will allocate internal and external resources
of The Bard Group in response to the clients' individual needs
for the engagement. Insurance of deliverables and client satisfaction
are also the responsibility of the Director. A graduate degree is required, preferably MBA, MHA, or MSN. The
successful candidate will possess a minimum of ten years experience
in consulting or engagement management. A minimum of fifteen
years leadership experience in a healthcare system, hospital or
large multi-specialty physician group is also required. Additional
areas of knowledge and experience are: organizational integration,
performance improvement, sourcing and closing consulting business,
leading strategic consulting engagements/projects, building a
consulting team and/or practice, and facilitating meetings and
teams.
The Bard Group is located in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
Travel will generally be limited to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
throughout the course of the engagement.
