Job Description:
Oversee the successful operation of a high-performing physician
recruitment department as Director of Physician Recruitment at
Bayhealth Medical Center (BMC), based in Dover, Delaware. Bayhealth Medical Center, Delaware's second-largest healthcare
system includes Kent General Hospital, Milford Memorial Hospital
and many satellite facilities. Combined, BMC includes nearly
400 beds with over 2,700 employees and 354 physicians. Strategic
growth initiatives have created an outstanding opportunity to
develop and lead a dynamic physician recruitment department. The Director of Physician Recruitment is a highly visible position
which interacts closely with the Chief Medical Officer, senior
health system management and the system's medical staff. As Director
of Physician Recruitment, you will manage all aspects of the recruitment
program at BMC, including the oversight and implementation of
standardized processes, protocols and procedures within the Physician
Recruitment Office. Cejka Search, a nationally recognized physician and executive
search organization providing services exclusively to the healthcare
industry for over 25 years, is conducting the search on behalf
of BMC. Qualified candidates will have solid healthcare leadership, project
management, sales, and/or management experience. Knowledge or
experience in physician recruitment is a plus but not required;
training will be provided. Preferred candidates will be self motivated,
have a history of achieving results, and a solid track record
for successfully developing strong relationships with senior management
and physicians. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
A bachelor's degree is required and a master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of five years of successful experience in recruitment,
healthcare management, project management, or other comparable
experience.

south of Philadelphia and 90 miles east of Washington DC. In
