Job Description:
Cejka Search has been retained to assist Genesys Health System
to recruit candidates for the newly developed role of System Chief
Clinical Officer. As one of six senior executives of this health
system, the Chief Clinical Officer will have strategic and overarching
responsibility for this system in Academic Affairs, Information
Systems, Research and Quality. Genesys Health System (GHS), a member of Ascension Health, is
a group of affiliated medical campuses, outpatient centers, primary
care locations and ancillary health care organizations with a
mission and history of improving our community's health for nearly
80 years. As the leading health care provider in mid-Michigan,
Genesys is anchored by a 21st century inpatient facility - Genesys
Regional Medical Center at Health Park in Grand Blanc, Michigan
- one of the first medical centers of its kind built both clinically
and architecturally around a patient-focused care philosophy.

operating revenues of over $400M, GHS is a regionally integrated
health care delivery system comprised of 167 family physicians
in ambulatory care centers, Genesys Convalescent Center, Genesys
Hospice plus numerous in-home services and after hours clinics.
Genesys PHO offers the services of more than 400 specialists
and subspecialists. While the Chief Clinical Officer will serve in a system-level
strategic role, qualifications include prior experiences in the
following areas: academic leadership, clinical program development,
faculty development, research, medical informatics, leading quality
and patient safety initiatives/clinical process improvement, and
disease management programs and protocols.
