Job Description:
The Hospital of St. Raphael, a 511- bed academic health science
center affiliated with Yale University School of Medicine, has
an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader in psychiatry
to direct and expand their comprehensive inpatient and outpatient
psychiatry programs. St. Raphael's programs include an inpatient
adult unit, an adolescent unit, a partial day program for adults
and for children, a substance abuse program and a satellite outpatient
program.
Successful candidates for this position will have solid academic
credentials and will be a highly respected clinical psychiatrist.
Excellent program development and recruitment skills will be
essential as the organization moves to a hospital based psychiatric
medical faculty. Strong innovation and strategic development abilities,
collaborative leadership and excellent communication, interpersonal
and facilitation skills are required. Board certification in
psychiatry, minimum 10 years academic psychiatric experience and
ability to obtain a Connecticut medical license required.
